Prague – Čestlice Aquapark
As the name implies, it is a fully automatic system that is able to close a building entrance in case of emergency without the intervention of a human operator. It therefore helps to minimize potential multimillion financial damages to property.
The system consists of a control unit, drive mechanism and a stop log sheet that moves vertically. The control unit is linked with sensors that monitor the surroundings. If the system indentifies a dangerous event, it responds and protects the building by closing the barrier.
The barrier is connected to a backup source that ensures the closing of the barrier even after power failure. The system is also equipped with manual control for safety reasons.
